We light these luminaria bags to remember those who have died from cancer. It is always very emotional. I got the honor of lighting some of the luminaria bags. We light them at sunset and the light from the candles illuminates the track all night long. There was some rain at night, but the candles were relit and they burned until 8:00 am the next morning.
